ObamaCare: How Will You Suffer Under It?

Here’s another one of those charts that says it all (arrows added by me). Ask yourself, if this is really about “healthcare for all” and improving the national healthcare system: Why are so many left uninsured? Why are so many going to be put on Medicare? Why will so many employers be forced to drop employees from their healthcare, forcing employees to BUY Obamacare (I though it was free?!) or pay fines to the federal government for non-compliance?

Answer to all the above: Because it isn’t about healthcare; it’s about growing the federal government so that anything that affects your “health” can be regulated, which in turn gives government more leverage over your behavior, decreasing your privacy and liberty. In a word: control.

Pelosi, Obama Agree That Jail Time for Not Buying Health Insurance is Appropriate

That’s nice.  Here’s the link.

In case you didn’t know, the House Bill for Obamacare that passed last week calls for this punishment.

How’s that hope and change working for you?

I wonder if people prosecuted for this will get the kind of lawyers that Sheikh Khalid will in New Your, now that he’ll be tried there with all the rights of a U.S. citizen.

“Massive Disconnect” between AARP’s Reasons for Bill Support and the Healthcare Bill Itself

It isn’t because AARP leadership is hopelessly stupid or senile. It’s because it’s a special interest group that wants payback from Obama. Here’s the piece. Universal healthcare simply is not about healthcare. It’s about diminishing freedom, increasing dependence on government, and political favors.

Pelosi Dumps Her Huge STEALTHcare er, . . . HEALTHcare Turd . . . er, Bill on the House

Why call it a stealth proposal? Because it’s 1,990 pages – and it’s up for a vote next week. How many people are (again) going to know what’s in the thing they’re voting on? Well, at least she gave opponents the weekend!

To download the huge PDF turd, click here. Hope you have a fast connection.
