Gabriel Stone Nonsense, Just in Time for Christmas!

Posted By on November 12, 2009

I blogged about the upcoming National Geographic nonsense on the Gabriel Stone over at PaleoBabble for those interested. NG thinks it will destroy the uniqueness of Christianity. Dunderheads.

I wish people would get off there bums and think for themselves and stop sitting in front of the T.V and getting their world views off these cretins such as NG and the History channel.

    Itchy ears, sound doctrine !

In the UK we have “leading theologians” like Robert Beckford who will no doubt pop up during the run up to Christmas also.

I just finished watching this NG episode today (no doubt a tip of the hat to Easter). Let’s not throw everything out just yet. Yes, this not-even-very-thinly-veiled attempt by NG (who continually finds itself publishing retractions to its more colorful theory-craft) to manhandle Hebrew culture and doctrine. However, the ink-on-stone relic in question is a great discovery! Just because Israel Knohl and Ava Yardeni are once again playing Dan Brown’s game of Hangman with missing letters, we should level charges of Paleo-perversion just yet. The stone is another outstanding addition to a fast-growing library of first-century windows in time.
