No Syntax Session at SBL

This may seem quick since I blogged about it yesterday, but it was actually proposed a week ago. CARG (Computer Assisted Research Group) has turned down my idea for a syntax shootout / think tank under their auspices at SBL. In most general terms, they didn’t want to appear as endorsing Logos. That’s okay, and not unexpected (and reasonable on CARG’s part). I’ll try again some other time when other software packages catch up so the endorsement feel isn’t there.
