The Bible in Public Schools

In case you were unaware of it, the SBL has been at the forefront of an endeavor to teach the Bible in the public schools. Below is a Fox News interview with Kent Richards, Director of SBL. Kent is a very nice guy and the right strategic person behind this project. I recall discussing it with him at dinner a couple years ago at SBL.

    Fantastic, its too late for us here in the UK but i hope this programme takes hold in other US states, Theology aside for a moment it sounds like a great class and could bring forth great fruit to inspire a future generation, plus it will be genuinely interesting to see how the Bible has impacted and effected the world..Good stuff, lucky pupils.
