When I figured out the English translator, it says, “Massoretic version”.
Are they harmoninzing it with the MT?
I was wanting to see if the Qumran scrolls disagreed with the MT specifically on some Isaiah stuff where some Targums render “My Servant”( chapter 52,53,etc) as “My Servant, The Messiah” .
Does the text of any Qumran scroll add Messiah or was that just a Targum expansion? They did that tons I realize in Targums.
Most of the DSS align to a high degree with MT (those are therefore called “proto-MT” texts — recall that MT was born ca. 100 AD). I don’t have time to look up the other right now.
