Saw this interesting post over on UFO Iconoclasts. Some good thoughts that ought to be seriously entertained.

I would hope, Michael, that our evolution idea might allow some UFO thinkers, like yourself, to take it further, intellectually.
Eliminating some cuckoo ideas winnows down the UFO arguments to those that deserve further elaboration or scrutiny.
Darwin’s evolution was never intended to go the distance as is, I believe. As the antithesis to creationism and the basis for atheistic conditioning in schools it has served its purpose and is begging to be updated like software sent out onto the market in need of a patch. And I think the patch may be coming soon. Aside from what seems like an increase of UFO articles, there is also an increase in articles such as “Life on Mars: The End of Religion?” The conditioning obviously that ETs = no God. And these come alongside the relentless attacks on the divinity of Jesus; there’s a new book coming soon claiming that Jesus was the illegitimate child of Mary and a Roman soldier. With all the legwork being done, I think it’s highly probable that we will see mass landings within the next few years.

The merits and demerits of evolution as a theory are mixed, of course. One needs only to read some of the critiques of it by intelligent design scientists (many of whom have no problem with evolution – only the idea that it is purposeless and random). That said, I do agree that panspermia is being proffered as viable nursemaid idea to support naturalistic evolution. Since I started my newsletter six years ago (monthly – but ended this past May), I have averaged three panspermia news articles per issue for the entire six years (and in many cases, 3-4) – well over 200 articles. Yeah, it’s being pushed.
