Author: Many readers are familiar with Coast to Coast AM, the most-listened to late night talk show in the world. I’ll be on the evening of Feb 2. I’ve been on Coast over twenty times, and it’s always fun and unpredictable. The topics tend to be fairly wide-ranging when I’m on, but no doubt things like ancient astronauts and how Christianity could deal with an extraterrestrial reality will come up for discussion. One new item I am offering listeners is English translations to the only three scholarly articles on the Anunnaki that I know of. They are all in German, and over the past two years I have had them translated into English. Hopefully Coast listeners will want to actually engage the original sources in regard to the Anunnaki, which are a favorite candidate for ancient astronaut mythology.

Hat tip to Silver Screen Saucers for alerting me to a new disclosure petition regarding ending UFO secrecy. The short petition was authored by Rich Dolan and Bruce Zabel. (NOTE: I tried to sign the petition just now, but the White House website for accepting such petitions was down; please give it a try, though).
Readers know how I feel about such efforts. Completely worthwhile to try, but basically useless, especially given the current administration, which is hardly interested in transparency (e.g., Fast and Furious, Solyndra, Americans on assassination lists, etc., etc.). But I don’t think any administration would ever tell the complete truth about the UFO issue. Since my view is that all this is likely linked to projects that grew out of Nazi science (Paperclip) that involved human experimentation (and was and is useful misdirection), it ain’t going to happen. And if it’s extraterrestrial, you can double-down on that. But why not ask? It can’t hurt to try.

Here’s a link to the news that SETI is shutting down (at least for the time being) due to lack of funding. Had it not been for the federal government dogged pursuit of throwing money down rat holes, SETI would have been long defunct in the world of private industry, where the rule of thumb is “put up or shut up [or shut down].” But wait a minute . . . Paul Allen funds this as well. I guess he awoke from a venture capitalist trance (think Dilbert here) and now grasps the obvious: SETI has produced absolutely nothing in the way of its stated mission. A nice idea initially, but its turned into a science entitlement program.
